Great.
Mad. Lovely twisted view of suburbia in the opening with the film getting more and more twisted.
Hopper turns out one of his best performances.

Great movie and great performances from all involved (Laura Dern, Isabella Rossellini, Kyle MacLachlan, Dennis Hopper, Dean Stockwell). A classic David Lynch movie... Strange, disturbing and way ahead of tis time... released in 1986... boy 20 years ago.

if you want to start on a David Lynch road trip you should start here - it's one of the great modern films of the 90's
also good -
the elephant man
the straight story
Twin peaks/Twin peaks - fire walk with me
Mulholland drive
even Dune's not bad after seeing it recently!

I saw this in college for a class. Everyone in the class left the movie saying "what the f*#^?"
It was really weird.

Yes. Very surrealistic. Didn't like Laura Dern in it.
