My hairdresser keeps mine light blonde and blunt cut just below my shoulder length (because my husband likes long hair). It depends on how much you want to mess with it. Mine's also curly so I don't blow dry much, just let it go. (The blonde is so it doesn't look so thin on top; my natural is dark red.)
