my annual prom is coming up soon but i hv no idea what to wear...
im 5"1 so preferably something that will make me look taller,also im only a 32A so i cant wear those dresses that show cleavage [as i dont have much] if u no what i mean

You're lucky then. You could wear a high neck Southern Belle look, or a straight line floor length sheath. Strapless. Don't worry about the bust size for strapless. If you wear the 'bandeau' style, there are bones in the sides that will hold the dress up quite nicely, and you don't have to worry about cleavage. It will also give the appearance of a bigger bust.

well its ok you have a tiny figure. thats not what prom is about. its not about the dress. its about going to your prom and hanging out with your friends there and your date. and just having a good time. ok my older sister is shorter then you and she went to prom. you can wear a short dress and some high heals to make you look a bit taller. or you can wear a longer dress with some highheals. you know? (My sister had highheals and a dress that went to her like almost shoes! and she didn't look so short. she also wore a black and purple dress. LOL! oh put your hair up too! short hair makes you look taller sometimes. and just don't worry about your size (you should try and feel comfortable in your body cuz your the one who has to live with it for the rest of your life.) so if you show your proud of your body everyone else will see you have confidence and will be happy with you too! good Luck and have FUN!

I'm 5'2" so I relate in a sense. I was always told to go with something that shows the legs the more you show the taller you look. As far as the cleavage, honey they sells bras for that. Have fun at prom!

Well since you have a small figure then wear a cocktail type dress that comes right under the knee it will make you look taller.I'm 5'1 too and it makes me look taller wear heels and a tight fitting dress!!!

What you need to do is pick a store and go in and try everything on...Really. It's the best way to go. Then you will know what type dress looks best on you. I wouldn't go with something real long since you are only 5'1. Your best bet is too try on many and then you'll know what too pick
