Section 215 of the Patriot Act violates the Constitution in several ways. It:
Violates the Fourth Amendment, which says the government cannot conduct a search without obtaining a warrant and showing probable cause to believe that the person has committed or will commit a crime.
Violates the First Amendment's guarantee of free speech by prohibiting the recipients of search orders from telling others about those orders, even where there is no real need for secrecy.
Violates the First Amendment by effectively authorizing the FBI to launch investigations of American citizens in part for exercising their freedom of speech.
Violates the Fourth Amendmentby failing to provide notice - even after the fact - to persons whose privacy has been compromised. Notice is also a key element of due process, which is guaranteed by the Fifth Amendment.

Remember when Steve Martin was a stand-up? Remember that he used to play the banjo? Remember that he had a little ditty about a "Ramblin' Man"?
I keep thinking of that song when I look at all your questions. Ramblin' man.
This question right here is soooooooo vapid and rhetorical I'm surprised that you expect people to actually give you an "answer" to it. And what in the heck does all of this stuff about the government's reaction to Katrina have to do with politicians limiting our freedoms?
"If the method we use to raise a barn and build a home has changed over the years to one in which money has taken the place of actual hand on help. ......." Ramblin' man.

I dont think it will ever change. Its America man, one thing about this country is its a song and dance, take a look at commercials on television. Twenty years ago Coca-Cola or Adidas would have paid someone to wear something that had an ad from them. Now its the other way around, international people come to this country and they hate it!

Do not dismiss the crooked politicians so easily!
Just take a careful look at the fools who vote them into office!
'Those too intelligent to engage in politics are punished by those who are less intelligent.' (Plato)

With no more Soviet Union to root for, this is what the anti-capitalists are focused on, ladies and gentlemen. A shining example.
