That wouldn't surprise me coming from a man who tries to portray himself as a nice guy to his opponents while using Karl Rove to smear their character. He is two-faced and a backstabber.

Because some of them are 'nuts'. Just like when the majority of the socialist-dems call moderate dems 'nuts'. Extreme positions on either side are 'nuts' to normal moderate people. And yes, smiles and hugs--in a polite society you don't deliberately offend allies. Both sides do the same thing.
