I just answered a question about a woman who keeps taking back her ex He doesn't have a job nor does he want one so Why do women keep dating losers I just don't get it. No job, abusive,Drinks alot,Etc. you just keep taking them back Why???? I don't feel sorry for those of you who keep doing this.

I don't understand it either unless these women have low self esteem.I have no room for losers in my life.

because by a certain point a woman get to think that they can either change the person or their self worth has been beaten down by this type of unhealthy relationship that they don't know what a healthy one is. There are many different reasons as was suggested above that just can't be gotten into here. The suggestion about going to the local domestic violence shelter is great because they can explain how the psychology behind them.

I don't feel sorry for those type of women either. I had an abusive, drug addicted, selling crack out of my home, hustling, compulsive lying, cheating, illiterate, greedy, stingy, controlling MF that I had a baby by. When I made the decision that I had enough, I got rid of him. He doesn't know where I live and he has not seen our child. Let her get her brains knocked out she'll get enough if he doesn't kill her first.

Some women feel that they can't get anyone else and dwell on not wanting to be alone. They need to realize that there is nothing wrong with being single and independent, and that it's okay to wait for someone better to come around.

Some of us eventually "get it, & get out".
It's a conditioned response...too hard to explain on here.
I feel bad for people (not just women) stuck in cycles of unhealthy, rotten relationships.
But I know what you're saying....there comes a time when one has to make a choice, however hard it may seem.
Some folks are only happy being miserable.

I agree with you on that one. Personally I'd rather be alone than with a deadbeat. But there are a lot of women around with self esteem issues I guess, who hate being alone. There are also a lot of women who have this "I can save him" mentality, which never works.

aint that the truth, some women feel alone and take the first thing they look at without really looking at it all they see is a so called man with no balls a man with balls is a good man who loves his work and family and is not abusive my mama always said it takes a real man to love a woman a man is not a man if he is abusive to her he is a coward with no balls.......

I believe some women are insecure about themselves and believe that this is the only type of man they can get. Women have to get more esteem and realize they can do better.

my votes for low very low self esteem many woman haven't learned from there mothers how to pick the right guy or to slightly change the one your with it is possible ladies.like the old saying shape up or ship out.
