Seriously, where have Diesel, Porgie, Kim and everyone else who used to come on here, where have they gotten to?? It seems as though we're doing a bit of silent treatment...for nothing!! Do you think we should invite them all to a braai and have a lekker jol??

I'm still here. I posted three questions a couple of days ago, but resolved it the next day. Sorry! And I wasn't spooked by Brad and Alf. The last few posts on this site were questions I couldn't answer. No need in answering something I don't know anything of, hey?
Some of the guys have posted some jokes here and I enjoy all of it, but don't really know how to respond to all of it.
Diesel is very busy these days and I haven't talked to him in a while. He hasn't been on messenger and I always e-mail him whenever I need his advice on something. Kim haven't answered a question in 2 weeks. Dunno what that's all about. Maybe she's just bored with answers. You've been in SA so long that we lost contact, I guess.
Anyways, you can check the "discover" part of the SA section and post some comments to my previous answers if you wish. Otherwise you'll have to wait until tomorrow for another post. I always think of something on Fridays when it's too late for most to answer. Simply because I'm usually drunk on Friday evenings.

Spoke to Porgie earlier in the week (he's coming to visit soon, and is sorting his passport out). He had a question about Afrikaans "anglisismes". Diesel answered something over the weekend. Dont know bout Kim.
It's been quiet for a while, but today there is a lot of activity, must be the smell of the weekend making everyone frisky.
Wish I could come to the braai, I'm working. Save some sosaties for me.

I just told my wife that the braai and rugby is the big discussion. I told her that we are having a braai at my place. Her reply "You must be joking". It is my daughter's 9th birthday Saturday and she have invited something like 15 friends. Imagine all of us braaing with 15 kids all around us.

Brad and I are not trying to scare you away. All we are doing is exposing some of the realities of the New South Africa but some of you guys are taking it as a personal attack. You gotta confront your problems and not deny them because that wont make it better for the people left behind. Look at that poor woman who lost her 12 month old baby in a shootout in downtown Johannesburg a couple of days ago. Dont you think it is worth fighting to get that stopped?
