at 10 weeks? I'm aware that everyone is different, but I just felt as though I should be having some type of bloat or bulge starting, even if it's just the feeling of it inside with no visible signs. My last ultrasound was last week and everything seemed fine, I guess I'm just concerned. Most times, I just don't feel pregnant at all. None of the symptoms or sicknesses associated with pregnancy have plagued me with the exception of chronic constipation! How normal is this? Does every Mother to Be experience exaggerated symptoms with multiples?

Why do men come here to belittle our questions? Women that have been pregnant are more sympathetic to our concerns because they've typically been there and felt that way before and can relate.

It just depends. Sometimes you'll be very aware that you are pregnant, other times you won't. Especially this early. I'm 30 weeks and sometimes I don't feel pregnant. Those episodes definately happen less often now. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong. I was sick all the time in the beginning of my pregnancy, and now I'm starting to be sick again. I also have heartburn constantly and my feet hurt like heck even though I'm not retaining fluid. I'm exhausted all the time, but I don't want to sleep. My pregnancy has been completely normal and mostly enjoyable though. I'm still working full time as a nursing assistant even though it's getting harder for me to get around. My coworker's giggle sometimes when they see me waddling down the hallway to my next patient or when I try to get out of a chair, but most of them have been there before.
It is said that you may experience more intense syptoms with multiples but the only absolute sure way to know if you are having more than one is to see what comes out at birth. A second can be missed on an ultrasound if one is positioned directly behind the other and your doc may not detect the second heartbeat. When I was first pg I thought there might be two but by 14 weeks I decided it was just one and it was a girl. They haven't found a second and the ultrasound at 20 weeks showed a girl. If there is two you'll probably know before anyone else.

I've had 3 kids. With two of them, I had no idea I was even pregnant until four and a half months (the first child), my second child I felt the pregnancy early on about 6 weeks and went to confirm with a test. My third child again I had no idea until I was just over three months along.

No signs, no symptoms - I was pretty floored by that and wondered if I was a defective female LOL....all the stories from women that could 'feel' they had just conceived or knew within weeks etc...I remember lying down one day with my first rubbing moisturiser onto my tummy and freaking out that there was this large hard lump in there....o_0

Even while pregnant with my first son watching my increasing stomach and feeling the incidental aches and pains I never 'felt' pregnant....really strange odd feeling.

Glad to know there are other 'defective females' out there like me.....congratulations, take care of yourself.

As you said earlier all women are different. Some experience symptoms at this stage and some do not. If you dont feel any thing then be happy as some are sick as dogs right about now. Not feeling bad or sick is NOT an indication that naything is wrong either. Believe me the further you get along the worse the little aches and pains will get. Congrats on your pregnancy and God Bless.

I am the mother 3 and a half year old twins. At 10 weeks the only 'symptoms' I had were breast tenderness, frequent urination and occasional morning sickness. I didn't start to show for a while after that. I think when we find out we are pregnant, espcially with twins or more, we just automatically think that we should feel 'pregnant'. I hope this helped some.

I didn't start feeling pregnant until i was 5 months, because that is when I felt my baby move. Now I'm 6 months and I am just starting to really show, it will happen and when it does you are going to be wishing that you were 10 weeks again, enjoy this now because it won't last for long. Good Luck~~ and Congrats

You are sooo lucky, I started having morning sickness right away, from week 4 until week 14,I thought It was never going to stop. I didn't really feel anything inside me until the 16 week, when I started to show, before that no bloating no nothing, except from the morning sicknes and the feeling of being so tired all time, nothing could tell I was pg

Your fine. I didnt have any symptoms from 1-8 weeks, and from 8-12 i had constant never ending morning sickness. After that, nothing. I feel normal, just with a basketball stuck to my front.

I wore my regular clothes until i was almost 4 months pregnant. Size has nothing to do with anything.

at 10 weeks i already had allday sickness, and increased tiredness but other than that you couldn't look at me and tell i was pregnant. i didn't really start showing until about 4 months along. just be thankful you don't have the morning sickness yet, maybe you won't even get it.
congratulations on the baby
