Ethics and values aren't same. Values are personal inner beliefs that we try to live by, that we form for ourselves through life, family teachings, and experience. Ethics are usually formed by a man-written code of conduct that we must follow in regard to occupation or position. They can vary, and they can conflict with each other, and following both at the same time is sometimes difficult or impossible. For me, the bottom line is that I have to live with myself, so my personal values come first, even if professionally viewed as unethical.

When I was 3 I played with 3 girls and their was an incident. i don't remember what happened - but I got a lecture from my mum about being stronger as a boy than a girl and I shouldn't hurt them but protect them. Hence, I learned a lesson and gained a value - from someone I loved, trusted and respected. On my first day at school I pulled a guy off a young girl - he beat the **** out of me - I learned another - leave guys who are bigger than you alone. Most ethics we learn though our parents as children - I never abuse women and never will - partly because of the way my mum brought me up and partly because I had two older sisters - who were bigger than me! Guys who do abuse women are weak anyway. I have a strong personality.

ethics and values are different from country to country, for example, in Englsnd smiling showing teeth is a good thing whilst in Pakistan they don't like it.

Also in western countries blond hair is considered attarctive wheras in Asia they think it is unattractive and prefer dark hair.
