It appears that some of you out there always assume that all men are perverts and only interested in sex. To put the record straight. I guess you can put me in that category!! Seriously, i work on the rigs in SE asia and want to find some fun places to visit during my shore leave. Fair enough?

How many weeks do you plan to go. You should go at least 3 weeks. I took a leave of absence 1 week on top of my 2 weeks vacation and have been to phil. the last 3 yrs in a row. There is alot of night life, a few blocks from the embassy also. Just ask the hotel cabbies. The hotels have cabs assigned to them that are safe. The cab driver can take you around all day exclusively for you. For not too bad of a price if you make deal with them for a daily price. You will get places faster, and see much more, both night life and beautiful places to see. My mother is from cebu though. It is a very nice place to vacation. No where near the size of makati/manila. Remember to bring condoms from here. Cause the condoms there are not quality ultra thins. Bring a quality digital pocket. Such as the canon elph., fuji F10 is what I have. Great video w/sound above 6 mpixels ccd. Maybe a laptop drive to store your photos, and movies....Internet cafe's are everywhere, So you can tranfer your files, and most hotels have a computer. Looking for a wife, the stores/malls hire many beautiful girls with college educations. A good girl, and family will never ask you for money, assistance....especially her family should never ask you for anything. Even though they may not be well off. A good girl will most likely be a virgin there are many. And so you will have to treat her as such. You can ask that to any girl there if they are virgin without offending them. They should be proud to tell you if they are, and kind of sad to tell you if they are not. A happy medium would be to find a girl who has had 1 or 2 boyfriends before, and tells you she is not virgin.Trying to be short here. tc and good luck. Oh by the way, pick up a smart sim, And activate international roaming before you leave...any friends you make there will be able to text you here in the states for only 1 peso cost to them (otherwise they will not be able to afford to reply to your texts because of the cost). You will have to put the smart sim into an old phone here. Locus mobile prepaid gsm is the cheapest I found to text philippines at 5 cents per text. So now I carry 3 phones. My local here, smart, and locus prepaid....Oh well. Buy a smart sim and phone right away if you are looking for wife or girlfriends, you will need a local phone number. Its nice too have anyway. The load is sold at stores. Just from my experience. The phone you buy there will not work here. But the sim will.

If by "fun" you mean hitting up the girly bars, there are a few places.
In Manila, you can go to Burgos street in makati (check out Jools, Montana, Rogues), lots of places there. Almost all of Roxas is full of those places (East asia, Wild duck). Undoubtedly the best one is Air Force One. This is at the Airport mall on Sucat Ave., Paranaque.
AF1 ... the place to go to for sure.
