I think she's done it to get more publicity shown on her Kabbalah religion. The orphanage is sponsored by the LA Kabbalah centre. It's the "in" thing for celebs to do at the moment...go in and pick out a kid the same way you would a puppy. Even Jessica Simpson has talked about adopting a child from overseas! Scary! The only celeb who I believe truly cares about the welfare of children from underpriviledged countries is Angelina Jolie.

Madonna probably adopted because she is too old to have her own children without significant health risks to herself and a baby. (she is pretty old by now I think)

she probably adopted for publicity, a bit like bradgelina... and yes she might be old, and yes she might be slightly trout looking, but how many other women do you know that can put their legs over their heads like she can?!

i think it is more beacause of her figure dont want to lose it at her age having babies is not all that safe anyhow and it seems to be the rave in hollywood theses days
