Mine was a 1962 metalflake copper Galaxy 500. It had hood pins and was jacked up in the back. I totally loved that car. My dad was forever fixing something that I tore up on it. When the transmission tore up (my fault), he said enough's enough. It was history.

Mine was a 3 door metallic blue 1989 Ford Escort 1.3 with 99k miles on the clock.
Doors were seriously rusted (put my hand through the drivers door when washing it). The sills and arches were rusted badly and there was holes in the boot floor and the engine had very little power and sounded rough as hell but I still loved it.
I got the car free from an old guy along the road from me as it was a non-runner, got it running and drove it for 4 month till the MOT ran out then sold it to a scrappy for £50

I had an already ancient Rover 75. It was a big luxury heavy old bus. The really fun thing about it, was a very primitive freewheeling device which was a sort of early cruise control. There was a dial on the dash, which you turned furiously when you got to a cruising speed. This knob applied a counterweight to the flywheel. With no obstructions, you could go for miles at say 70mph, with the engine on tick over.

I shared a 1971 American Motors Hornet 4dr with my mom, great tough little car.
The first I ever bought was a new 1976 FIAT 128 2dr sedan. Shaped like 3 boxes, it was so much fun to take around corners. The exhaust note sounded like a tiny Ferrari, and it had Michelin radials. The inside was really comfortable with bucket seats, and even had a good sized trunk. It was green. I miss that car!
The Honda Civic at the time cost the same and gave you nothing close to all that.

mine was a 1985 light blue toyota corolla tercel hatchback. what a piece of ca-ca that car turned out to be. it was used for a year and half and most of the time it was at the mechanic getting somethign or other fixed. the only good thing about this used car was it was my frist car, so i got to get all the first time driving attacks on it, and afterwards ended up buying a 1986 plymouth reliant which i ended up owning for 14 yrs. sort of told me american cars were the way to go.

1986 Audi coupe, 16valve, 2 litre injection.
Drove like a dream, cornered like it was on rails, it was reliable and fast... Not only that but it was purple....
Unfortunately, someone ran into me in 2001 and it got wrote off... By far the best car I ever had and am on the look out for another.
