because i just found out my friend is gay.

Hi,lovie
I have this guy who has been my friend since junior high.And we went to the same college and i never really knew he was gay until he sat me down on a sunday afternoon,and he said Nicky i have been keeping something big from you the past years we have known each other.I dont know how u will react but Nicky i am gay and i have been pretending to like women so that you wont think differently of me.At first i was like get out of here u joking right!He said nope i am dead serious but i hugged him and kissed him and told him that i appreciate him even more coz he is my friend and i love him no matter what.He has always been there for me through the worst possible times and i have made it in life partly becoz of him and nothing can change that.I was upset that he kept this screte to himself but i understand that in this society we live in hormosexuals are treated differently and he felt like i would treat him like how some of the society treats gay people.But all i want to do is stick by his side,love him and continue to be his friend coz to me nothing has changed he is still the same person i know.The worst thing to do in life is to turn your back on somebody when they need you the most just becoz they are different.Remember what goes around comes around who knows maybe one day you will need help or you need acceptance too and all your friends dont want to help or to have anything to do with you and that gay friend is the only person who loves you enough to stick by you when no else can.

you accept him for what he is and not by his gender....If i found out that my friend is a gay it will not change anything cause i know we had been friends by our similarities and good qualities that he has and not because he's a man who turns to be a gay.

Being a gay is not a guarantee for you to leave your friend. be liberal with him 'cos being a gay might be his source of happiness. in the mean time, talk it over with him and if he enjoys it, then allow him 'cos building a relationship is not a day job.

If your friend was your friend before you knew he/ she was gay then what's the problem? They are still the same person. They should still be your friend. If it bothers you talk to them about it.
