No idea, but another problem you'll probably run into, after you get it working, is many mp4 files you find on the web won't work on it.
Unlike mp3, which is truly universal, there are many versions of the mpeg4 format.
some devices say they are mp4 players, but will only accept mpeg4 files wrapped up as an avi (divx for example) or wmv.

Edit: The most common mp4 you'll find on the web uses Apple's codec, which is mpeg4 SP with AAC audio: supported by video iPods & now PSP
