I am anime and manga fan. Here in France we still have new manga and anime in our manga store.So the answer is "no". Manga is as popular as the Emperor. In Japan everyone read about a manga a day.

Can't be. My wife's from Japan and she says there's no way. Anime is too much a part of the culture, and there's no reason to. Where did you hear that?
