My partner and myself notice all the time our cat tries to look after us when we are sick or unhappy. No matter what the sceptics say, we believe it. Who agrees? One day they will find out it is true.

i agree with you, i notice that our pets look after us also.my man is epileptic and our dog reacts like an alert dog and stays by his side at all times. this is her free choice to do so. not trained to do but we believe that she just loves us

Dam skippy. I have 2 full blooded german sheperds, 2 house cats. My cat is a trip. He use to be a mechanic in a past life. I restore cars. He has 2 inspect every car that comes in. He goes inside, all over outside, & underneath. When we work on cars he is right there most of the time in the way. He watches everything you do under the hood or anything for that matter in cars. He will stand on the fender while you start the motor. Hell he wont get off the hood if you start the car & try to leave. I drove down the street with him on the car. Had to call the house & ell them come outside & get the cat off the hood. He has killed over 3500 full grown rabbits. He beheads them & brings them to me as gifts. Ya, my cat looks out for me. Maybe twisted but he does. The dogs, dont leave my side, I wish someone would try something. They are trained in level 2 advanced.

Definately. 100%. All pets are very protective over their owners. My first experience being a labrador dog we had when i was born. It refused to leave the side of my cot and growled at anyone other than my mum who came near me.

I had a stomach problem and all those days I was in bed, my cat was always with me ( and my sister and my mother was at home). So yes, I agree

I believe it! I think animals can tell when we are not feeling well or upset! Do you ever notice when you are upset your animal is always in your face or comes in sits in your lap and purrs like crazy!

Oh I agree!! I think every animal knows when 'their human' isn't feeling right. My dog won't leave my side when I'm sick and boy does he ham it up when I'm feeling down...

Yes, my dog is very protective over me. I think he knows when I've been having a bad day or something. I think its right when they say dogs are WOMANS best friend:):)

yep, i believe that... i used to have a dog (and i miss her dearly :( ) that used to come near and sit with me when i'm down... she literally doesn't leave me until i do... but even so, she would follow me around... with this expression on her face and, ironically, she can reflect some of my moods... she's happy when i'm happy, ecstatic when i'm like that, seriously playful when i'm in to play with her... those things... i miss her but i will carry those memories with me :)
