It is the same reason that people who are awful spellers and can't use English grammar to save their lives, ask why people answer questions.
Maybe they have some sort of life experience that they would like to share, or just want the two points of answering a question.
So here, a lesson for you...here is your question, rewritten in correct form:
"Why do people comment on things they know nothing about? Why don't people just mind their own business? It's crazy;
like people have no life. They just sit around commenting on things, and they have know idea what they are commenting on."

Do you mean swamp thing or the thing there is a big differance you know swamp thing uses a mop for a weapon he also has a cartoon and a real life movie the Thing has only brute strength for a weapon.

Good question. I think the answer is due to the medium we are using....and the fact that they get points for any old answer.
Once you are online in this...anything that gets your attention can prompt you to answer.
Also sometimes it is good to get people's opinions just to see how people 'feel'. Even if they aren't knowledgable. (For example my answer to your question :) ).
My advice....try to not let it get personal....there was a post the other day from someone who had replied with something that really wasn't that nice and he got a threatening email. He then responded with the post asking how he could get revenge. That just makes both parties feel bad.

It is not because they have to but sometimes when you hear a stupid ? or comment like Canada just got indoor pluming
people just get piss and want to ask the person where is the whole you just crowl from or be totslly nasty
But anyhow the minute you ask ? in this site expect to get answer from all kind
