I can't tell. Some time after I got snipped, the wife suspended sex privledges, so I don;t know if it took

I had it done last year, and it hasn't failed. Like someone else said that even after having a vasectomy for a short period, it is still possible for a man to get a woman pregnant because there still is sperm in the ejaculate. But I don't feel like any less of a man because I had it done. In fact I feel that I can enjoy sex more with my wife now without the worries of her getting pregnant again. We have 3 kids now, and we want another one, but there are other ways of getting her pregnant without having to reverse my vasectomy.

I had mine in 1971, and it was the best thing I ever did after having four children in four years. Mine never failed, but I did have a friend whose vasectomy did fail, and it temporarily caused much grief and stress between him and his wife. Today, they cut the vas tube and do not just tie it, so failure rates now are almost nonexistent.

Chow!!

actually it doesnt failed. sometime it can still make a woman pregnant in the first few months because there are still sperms that is stored so they are released...but i strongly recommend not to try vasectomy cause your penis is just one, just use condoms properly and other birth control method, i feel like a powerless man if i did that operation...

Not me personally - my vasectomy went fine, however an acquaintence of mine did not have a postoperative check on his semen to see if there were sperm in it. His 3rd and youngest child just started college. His second vasectomy went OK and he DID get checked after it.

Vasectomy,IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI, ICSI and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. The cost is very low and the medical services are very good in India.

My cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the Forerunners Healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full IVF treatment in India for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the newspapers. I have also read about a Chinese couple who planned surrogacy through the Forerunners Healthcare. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery and infertility treatment like IVF, IUI, and ICSI abroad for low price. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery and treatment can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

Very rare if it fails. We have 3 children, So my hubby had it done last yr. You have to use protection until he is oked by the doctor that his sperm count is zero. Hubby had it done in Sept by New Years he was oked. I don't think it make him less then a man. I think it make him a better man.=D
