i have a 1995 dodge neon just replace the coil pack and the spark plugs because there was a rough idle the spark plugs alone made a big difference for the past month now the spuddering is back im not sure if it would more likely be the plug wires the injectors or the fuel filter its a 5 speed and yes i know how to drive a standard sometimes when you take off it will start to lope and sound like its only hitting on 2 cylinders and only want to idle at about 300rpms until you slam on the gas then after a few seconds it takes off shut it off and it will start back normally after setting a few minutes then after you start to drive it about 2 or 3 blocks it starts it again ive rechecked the plugs they look normal just wondering if anyone has had the same problem and if they have any adives, im not looking for some smart *** remark about the fact that i drive a neon either, thank you

Sounds like it could be a clogged fuel filter....change it..it doesn't cost much less than $10 ... you can do it yourself in most cars it is on the engine.. change it in less than 5 minutes.

hook a scan tool to the data link connector and see whats up. check for codes, go into the misfire data stream and see which cylinder is the culprit. do a fuel injector balance test, compression test, test fuel pressure and volume test. check for vacuum leaks

possible filter or injectors...start with the fuel filter first and clean the throttle body...

good luck
