I don't understand WHY HAVEN'T WE GOT BETTER SECURITY IN OUR HOMELAND?!? I THOUGHT THAT'S WHY GOVERNMENT BEEFED UP SECURITY AT THE AIRPORTS!

1979: Yankees player Thurman Munson flies a plane out of Teterboro Airport, NJ, and mysteriously crashes a short while later.
2006: Yankees player Cory Lidle flies a plane out of Teterboro Airport, NJ, and mysteriously crashes a short while later.

You hear about small planes crashes very frequently. Many well known people have been killed in plane crashes. It`s safer then driving a car, flying a small plain can be very dangerous. I was happy it wan`t terrorist and no people in the apartments or on the ground were killed.

Of course it is unsettling.
This means that any idiot can hire a small plane, fly it into New York City air space and drop for instance a dirty bomb (a bomb with all kinds of nuclear waste).
Haven't they learned anything from 9/11?

anytime a plane hit a bldg. and it is in nyc definitely it is unsettling even if it is an accident, a lot of speculation will always surface, i'm waiting for some members of a terrorist group in a couple of days to claim responsibility!!
