Selling a high mileage car is no problem at all as long as you have had it regularly serviced.
Another thing is, if your car has done say 100k miles on motorway, it has a better chance than a car that has done 100k around town etc, as there is less wear to the car as you don't stop, start and do lots of hard breaking.
Beleive me, a car that has done 100k motorway and regularly serviced, sitting side by side the same type or any other good make car will stand out a lot more to be in better condition overall than the town driven one also regularly serviced.
Another thing to remember as well is that some cars weather better than others.
A merc which I owned done 150k with FSH was immaculate, mercs last forever. Jap cars are good reliable cars.
Regarding sticking your car into reverse to turn clock back, I owned a Citroen BX and when I reversed a long way back down a farm track near RAF Wattisham airbase, I noticed that my mileometer was lowering the miles.
Good luck with your sale

I don't really think that will work. If the car is well taken care of then you should be able to find a buyer. My husband and I both bought a car and a truck with mileage over 100,000. We are still driving them today. Good Luck!!!

automobiles that get extra beneficial gasoline mileage are merchandising plenty extra beneficial now that gasoline has long gone way up. the situation with automobiles that are extra gasoline-effectual is they're smaller and function much less power. those with families want SUVs as a results of fact there's an excellent form of room for Dad, mom, the youngsters, and all their stuff. many human beings want different automobiles with extra useful engines as a results of fact they want something that has passing power on the freeway, and the little gasoline-effectual automobiles don't have it. you in addition to mght have the pose element. maximum human beings are extra concerned about status and "holding up with the Joneses" than they're with reducing dependence on distant places oil. nicely, as quickly as gasoline gets as much as $5.00 a gallon possibly the common American client will awaken and scent the hybrid...
