hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia syndrome

Because the boy's sweat glands didn't develop, he can't perspire and his body cannot regulate temperature properly. Overheating is a common problem, especially during hot weather.

It could be hypohidrosis ectodermal dysplasia, solar urticaria, or just hypohidrosis.

With HED you should be seeing physical signs like thin nails, pointed teeth, prominent forehead, sparse hair., along with not being able to sweat. And getting rashes when over heated.

People with Solar urticaria most people with this condition can sweat. Have to where long sleeves, to protect them from the suns rays. It's all to to with UV light and not heat. They can break out in rashes too.

Hypohidrosis is just the inability to sweat. And there allergic to heat. But if the sun is hot that day then the sun would fall into that category. But anything like heaters, hot foods and liquids, even body heat. They should wear short sleeves, to keep them cool.
Can break out in rash.

My daughter doesn't sweat either. I am checking into something called CIPA. It is the inability to feel pain, inability to sweat, inability to control temperature, along with other things. This may not be the case with your son, if he feels pain. Did he cry when he got shots? My daughter doesn't cry when she gets shots or has blood drawn.
