I received this fan as a from a friend but the bracket was not in the box. I am afraid to buy just any type of ceiling fan bracket for fear that the fan will fall from the ceiling once it is truned on. I would appreciate any help that I can get. I have contacted several ceiling fan parts units on the internet. No responses yet. Thank you all for your help,.

You can buy them at Lowe's. I recently hung a 52" ceiling fan in my bedroom using a Reiker Super Fan Brace from Lowe's. It is item # 31790 & Model # 22200-CC. Price is around $15 in my area. It comes complete with everything needed to hang your fan. Although I opted to purchase an additional metal box (make sure it is ceiling fan rated), extra wire, and wire nuts just in case.

Usually the additional bracket is not included (at least it wasn't with mine). I ended up going to Home Depot to get mine, but I'm sure any Lowe's or Menards would have them.
