Circumcision is male genital mutilation! No competent medical authority recommends it for any health issue other than the very rare case where the foreskin is not normal. All of the other health or hygenic reasons for foreskin removal have been repeatedly shown to be untrue.

There is a very rich supply of nerve endings in the foreskin. The Victorians thought that by cutting it off they could keep boys from masturbating because it would no longer be enjoyable. We all know that wasn't enough to keep boys from doing it! But it is in essence an anti-sexual practice.

Once it's gone, it's gone forever. There are procedures to stretch the skin of the penis to cover the glans, but it does not restore the sensitivity. It does protect the glans, though, so may be worth doing. A circumcised penis rubs against clothing and can get hard calluses which reduce sexual sensation even more.

Please do not do this to your baby boy! He and his future wife will be glad you left him whole and perfect, the way he was made.

Male Circumcision is the removal of the foreskin from the Glans of the Penis. Female Circumcision is very different and not covered here.

Male Circumcision is a cultural practice not usually a health practice.

The health reasons for circumcision are very few and can mostly be prevented by proper hygene. If one does not clean any part of the part of the bosy, it can develop an infection. This statement also corresponds to the penis. Yes, penis cancer rates are higher in those with men who are not circumcised; however, Penis Cancer is truly a very rare disease. It is not something about which almost every male should worry.

Circumcision does not have any sexual side effects unless performed incorrectly. Yes, some people claim to have lost sensitivity because they are circumcised but very little research has actually been done on that subject.

Uncircumcised penises perform exactly like a circumcised penis. One exception is condom usage. Uncircumised men need to retract their foreskin before using a condom to ensure proper fit.

Circumcision is cultural. In the USA, we are divided about circumcision because we are a mix of cultures. Some cultures do circumcise their boys. Some cultures don't. In Europe, people generally like to see Foreskin on a penis. Other countries circumcise. It depends on your cultural group.

It is not a big deal one way or the other about foreskin. Try to accept the penis you have. If it is small or big, if it has foreskin or not, the penis can help bring alot enjoyment to your life. And yes, someone is out there, who will like your penis because they like you.

Circumcision is surgical removal of foreskin(prepuce) covering the glans. The only true indication is paraphimosis where the prepuce gets swollen with impeded lymphatic drainage and finally venous drainage when tight foreskin is pulled over glans. It is know to reduce incidence of penile cancer. This is due prevention of accumulation of smegma(secretion under the foreskin know to play a role). It is also done as religious ritual.it is a simple procedure where done by qualified surgeon, takes 20-30 min max).recovery is very fast. You are supposed to have reasonable amount of pain after any surgery.Pain killer do help.It should be done where ever it is surgically indicated. So nothing to worry.Cheers

circumcision is nothing but its cutting your foreskin from the penis. foreskin is the loose skin above the head of your penis. even if its not cut there is no problem. it can come back to some extent if you try to pull it back. but if you are not circumcized you need to take little care of your penis because bacteria can get accumulated in that loose skin. you need to clean it regularly, its easy.just pull the foreskin little backward and clean that area.

just a thing to add with these beautiful answers, circumcision prevents the collection of smegma inside the prepuce (foreskin). this smegma is thought to be precursor of cancer. so circumcision helps in preventing cancer of penis as well.
