I don't, cos there are many people out there who are like you have families to enjoy.... but I don't have. Will be feeling "extra" lonely during that season.

I always look forward to Christmas. It's a great time. I spend time with my family, eat, drink, receive and give presents. Plus I love all the decorations and decor around Christmastime. This year I am not really looking forward to Christmas because I am moving into my own apartment and I will be broke which means I can not buy many presents. Never the less I will still have fun.

I love christmas seeing my childrens faces and the build up to the day with music and decorating the tree, making my home into a wonderland i just cant describe the warm feeling i have inside thinking of christmas i do feel sorry for the people who dont have family as this is a time to be loving and giving to each other im not religious but i do know the meaning of christmas we are celebrating christs birthday and i express this to my children and make them understand how lucky they are to have so many nice things when there are children in the world who have nothing i try to donate somethings at christmas time to give to the less fortunate.

Not really The whole Christmas thing had changed its all about the decorations and the presents and that's not what it's all about at all. Where I live, last year people where getting fire from their jobs because they were saying have a Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays. Christmas is the birth of The Savior Jesus Christ, now I see nothing wrong with giving gifts but don't forget the reason for the season.

I am always looking forward to the Holidays especially Christmas. Before I go on my husband always loved Christmas season. However, that changed in December of 2000 10 days before Christmas. His Mother passed on then.
Each year when October and Halloween comes around he gets uptight about this time of year of thinking of his Mother.
However, I told him that it's for us and the people that are living to celebrate it. He gets by with the Holiday Season because I distract him.
I love cooking on Christmas Eve cookes and cakes and brownies. This year Christmas Eve is on a Sunday so I'll be doing the baking all day that Saturday. We also film our opening our gifts also.

I prefer to think of Christ as a Mighty King ruling the Christian
congregations from heaven and honor Him as such, everyday
The manger scene is misleading to children who think He never grew up.
(Some adults seem to forget His high position also)
Ofcourse, all most kids want is expensive presents.
Every year as I shop, which I can do at leisure,( no deadline to meet because I've been set free
from all that ) I've heard people complain about all the stress and say, "Can't wait til it's over!"
( Sad way to honor Christ )
I've raised 4 children, enjoyed grandkids & now have 2 very precious
great-granddaughters & don't feel obligated to buy gifts for Christmas
(unexpected gifts are more exciting on other days of the year)... I don't
make them wait til the calendar says it's time... They love to visit here
without the tree & all those trappings/trimmings, because our home is
happy & secure. They know they are loved. They also know Jehovah and Jesus are REAL !
By the way,
Where is the date for Jesus' birth recorded in the Bible? It's not there! Hmmm

Yes - I love Christmas with all the lights and decor - it just makes everything look so special...I love Christmas for the family time - even tho we're not always together - I know they are in my heart - The spending gets out of hand - but it's only once a year!

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Christmas is the best time of the year. I have always had that"Still, Still, Still" sparkling, magical feeling at Christmas. Until I married my husband. He was a real downer, angry at God and avoided Christmas. To make things worse, his mom passed away just a couple of days before Christmas. But now, we have two little girls, and for their sake he has pulled himself out of that thinking and has found the magic through their eyes. And that is the Christmas miracle, that it's better to give than to receive. He "gets it" now.
So yes, I really look forward to Christmas this year, to see the magic in his eyes.
Jesus is the reason for the Season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I like the Yule-tide Celebration. The contrast between cold snowy outside and warm affectionate family inside helps to put the world into perspective. Decorating the house and tree is fun. The only pain is having to shop for everyone. I'm on a tight enough budget as it is. Bah Humbug!! LOL
