Yes, I have them. They can be caused through infetions, etc. It is very important to get rid of those cells, which is usually done with a laser (I get that). If you have SEVERE dyskariosis, then it should be done asap. Your doc will tell you how much of the cervix is affected and will find the right treatment for you.
