I want to do something realy good for my boyfriends birthday! Don't want to spend very much money though and a suprise party wouldn't work, he would find out about it.

Any suggestions? Thank you xx

It really depends on what your boyfriends interests are. The best gifts are usually ones you can't wrap up (although putting yourself in a bow would be pretty unresistable).

One day I realised I could access the roof exit of my work place and it has an amazing view of the city I live in. So that day I invited my boyfriend over to see me at work and kept telling him I had a surprise. I took him upstairs after work, we sat out on the roof and I had a picnic basket up there with food I'd cooked earlier.

Things like that, that you invest time in, but are fairly inexpensive, make for brilliant gifts/surprises.

Check out the Red Letter Days website - they have some fab treats from swimming with dolphins to driving Ferraris to hot air balloon trips. You may make one of your boyf's ambitions become reality! Prices start from around £50.00 depending upon what the item is.

It is sadly getting a bit cold for picnics, but I saw someone mentioned a treasure hunt - I did that for a b/f once at uni and it took him round town, including to a pub where I knew the staff and they had a drink for him that I have bought, and eventually back to me in my room where I had prepared a simple candlelit meal - the ending can be totally up to you. That can be fun and romantic, and give you a bit of time to get yourself and the meal perfect!

Depends on age, likes etc, if you are of that age then book a meal and a b&b close to eachother and SUPRISE the hell out of him.

write clues for a treasure hunt with small presents running through and then the final clue would take him somewhere special to the two of you or to his present...make up riddles relating to things to do with each other...it's simple and really cool!
