Wipe it clean with newspaper. It works for me but sometimes it's all depending on the quality of the glasses used in the window.

mix water and vinegar, ration of 3:1 ( 3 parts water, one part vinegar) that is what i have done. you also have hard water, try and get a softner or something to keep your water softer.
