Most women would not have attained the "real level" of orgasm untill:
1) They had enough sex to understand their personal G-spot.
2) They found their true love and make love instead of having sex.
if that's what you mean, and that's what I gathered from most of my female friends.

I'm 29 and had my first and only O in my life just this last spring. And I've been married for seven years. So I think it's true. Aside from what everyone else has said (which I think some is right on the money), part of what makes a girl/woman be able to open up and feel comfortable enough to let it go is her man's actions. A guy's contribution to the cause isn't nessecarily physical, but more in being "unselfish". If he's not considerate, playful, and patient (by putting his own wants to the side for a while), that's a pretty good indicator it's not gonna happen. I don't think it's about the quality he might give, but more the intentions he has. At least that's how I look at it.

Hmmm...maybe women born before the sexual revolution or to uptight parentals.. Lot of people have been raised to believe that sex is dirty and to enjoy sex is wrong. It plays a strong mental factor in relationships. Are guys just that bad? Well, I can vouch that some of them are, but then again it takes two to tango. If the woman doesn't do anything for the guy, he's going to be more inclined to a 3 step tango, and you guessed it, no big O for the woman. So there's a lot to factor in.
Sounds like you have a great partner and get along great. I wouldn't worry about what an ex flame could or couldn't do!

In the early stages of a woman's sexual life, having an orgasm has less to do with the man's ability and more to do with emotion. Most women aren't able to experience an orgasm unless they feel emotionally connected and trust the man in an extreme way. Also, many women in their 20's who claim they have had an orgasm, are mistaking it for the combination of that 'awesome' feeling and getting extremely lubricated. It's nothing to worry about. And no most guys aren't that bad. Just because she does not have an 'O' does not mean he's not good in bed. I enjoy intimacy with my husband often, and he's very (big smile here) good at what he does; but at age 32, I still have not had the 'Big O' that everyone talks about. Trust, relax, and enjoy. it will happen eventually.

OK expert here! ok everyone knows boys come into their own earlier than girls, that is one thing. Boys are not told in their younfer years that girls do no think about sex and have maturbate like boys do. No one talks about this and I do not know why. So boys end up thinking that girls are wired like them when it comes to sex. Now for the third point. It takes longer for a girl, woman to have an orgasm than their counter parts, and it is rare that she will have one with intercourse. Plus there are other factors that go into it as well. Women, speaking older than teen years, are more relaxed and have gotten to know thier bodies and what feels good and will make them get close if not have an orgasm, so they can show thier partner what they can do to make them feel good. This is a learning game. No one is born knowing how to please another person sexually and every person is different. So talk about it. And yes it is true women fake having orgasms. Not at my age because we know if we fake it it will hurt their feelings (mens) more to learn that than saying sorry bud not tonight keep trying.

When youre wife talks about old flames is because she wants you to share your old flame anecdotes to have an idea what was it like and to know if she is doing the right thing to please you. On the other hand I am young and do have orgasms so ask your wife and if she does or doesnt..
