I had a 1500 bill with a financial co. I missed 2 payments and they took me to court, they did not appear at the scheduled date. I missed a day of work to appear.

OK, I'm back.

You won. They can not sue you again. If they call, just tell them they had their day in court and didn't show up. It's over. Get on with your life.

You still owe the debt. You made a contract when you borrowed it, you promised to pay it, so the adult thing, and pay it off like you said you would. All the judge dismissed was the lawsuit, not the debt.

Contact the lender and work out a repayment plan. Maybe you can stretch out the repayment schedule.

If the judge dismissed it then you don't owe them anything, make sure you have the dismissal order in writing, just in case they ask for any money of you.
