Menstruation is the release of the blood in the uterus which would have been there to grow a baby. If there is no baby then the body discharges it. Ovulation does not occur because that is when an egg is released and if it is already fertilized by the father's sperm then a baby will grow. No other eggs can be released during this time.
I hope this helps you.

Essentially, when you menstruate you are changing the lining so that it stays fresh for the following month. Once you get pregnant, the fetus is growing in that environment and he depends on it to grow. However, women have been known to spot during pregnancy and that is completely normal.

Ovulation doesn't occur because you already are pregnant. You can't get pregnant while you're pregnant.

menstruation and ovulation dont occur during pregnancy because the egg has been fertilized and therefore is not being shed or getting ruptured. rather it is being developed into a baby.

The walls of your uterus store blood. The egg is released from the tubes. If the egg is fertizlized, the extra blood is there to give the embryo (baby) nutrients. If not, you body releases the egg and the stored blood and tried again next month.

If the egg does get fertilized, the tubes will not send out another egg and body does not flush out.

The moment an egg gets fertilized in the uterus, mensuration ceases because no other egg gets released until the uterus or womb completes its work with the fertilized egg. That is, until the child is born.
