I have the shovel and can dig up things and make holes, but how do I put things in the hole and cover it? All I ever do is pick the thing up again!!!! Have read all the walk through's I can find, but no one explains how to do it!

You can just go to your inventory and tap and drag the flowers with your stylus, or just choose the 'plant' option. Also you can dig a hole and then choose the 'plant' option and it automatically burries the hole neatly around the flowers.

Well I only know the orginal animal crossing for the Gamecube. It was a fun game. Anyway you didn't plant flowers so to speak in that game. As in you didn't DIG holes. You simply picked the flower package and used it. Then the flowers were planted on their own at your feet. I'm not sure if they kept it the same but based on your question I would guess that is still what you do.

It's the same for the Gamecube and DS version. You buy the seeds you want and just choose where you want them planted. You don't dig a hole for flowers. If your playing the DS version have fun with the flowers and cross-breeding.

I don't think in either version(DS or GameCube) that you actually have to dig a hole. If you select the object and it should give you the option to plant.

just go into your inventory, select the seed bag, and use
there is nothing else to it
you CAN dig a hole, if you want, but there is no need to do that for flowers, you only need to bury fruit/trees

well youve done the digging you get youre plants from tom nooks shop go in youre inventry near the hole touch it and press the word berry if its on d.s dont no anout gamecube
