Yes, there is an insertion fee for every auction that is dictated by the starting price of the item.. If you don't sell it the first time, and you relist it the second time and it does sell, you will get reimbursed for the first insertion fee amount. If it still does not sell - no fee reimbursement. Hence, the importance of writing an effective auction listing the first time.

There is a Final Value fee on all auctions and sold items that is a certain percentage of the final bid/buy price and does not include S&H.

Is you use PayPal, an eBay company, there is a fee on all payments collected that is calulated by a certain percentage of the final bid/buy price and does not include S&H.

This is the cost of doing business in the venue called eBay. It is relatively small in relation to beginning a retail Brick & Mortar store.

eBay is not for the fainthearted and I have made some costly mistakes because I delved into it before thoroughly investigating it first. I suggest that BEFORE you begin selling, that you learn more about it by using eBay's FREE resources.

There is an insertion fee that you MUST pay when you list an item up for auction. Sometimes they even have deals where ebay offers an insertion fee of just 10 cents for a specific day...so you should take advantage of those days.

Every item you want to place on auction, there is an insertion fee that you cannot escape. When you sell the item, ebay then takes the price that you sold the item for and they add another final fee. They take a certain amount from the final price that you sold your item for and it really depends on how high your auction sold for.

Thirty five cents per auction. Then a "final value" fee is added- this is a percentage of what the item sold for. If your item does not sell, no final value fee is charged. But you will still have the listing fee.

Yes there is a fee for each listing and a fee for each item you sell. Be sure to price that into your item before you list how much you want for it.
