recently in wales; my intern that travels, w/ me got into an heated argument w/ an anti Blair advocate wow! what do you think or is every body crazy and bush is god and can do nothing wrong;and has.... done nothing wrong.

I am roughly your age sir/ma'am and I can remember us being hated during Vietnam and after we knocked off Salvador Allende In short, when ever we got to big for our britches and tried to impose our ideas on another countries. Now that we have the Internet, people all over the world in anyplace that has electricity can discuss our crimes and misdemeanors.
Maybe that's why it seems worse. Nobody likes a bully.

I'm English and i don't like Blair either for what hes done to this country as far as opening are borders up to all and sundry but i like the yanks personally,and as for wales don't go there your intern probably looked at someones sheep the wrong way.

give me a break. who cares what the world thinks when you are doing the right thing. history sees us protecting Gods people doing the Holocaust as a must for the world power that could. we are doing alot of things these days that only we can do and i am more than ever proud to be called an American

It amazes me how I hear about the international hate but yet they keep pouring in to become americans......I have also traveled throughout the middle east and UK and we are not as hated as you think, its who you ask and find out what their reasons are, mostly its because of the lovely media.

I am in my seventies, I remember the time when an American walked into a business or ? in any country he was treated very well, now when I go to a foreign country, I try to be inconspicuous as possible, it seems every one hates Americans, every where,
so I ask you do they hate Americans? and why?

I'm old enough, to know other countries, always have hated us and always will.
That aside their respect along with five dollars will get you a cup
of coffee at most places.
In other words We don't need their respect or love !

I, as most relatively intelligent Americans don't give a flaming butt what anyone in another country thinks of us, screw them! The good people of France, Germany, Sweden and any other socialist European country can bite me! Don't give a damn what they think, this isn't a popularity contest!
