Well men are dogs... and women can be vulnerable. If it's clear from the beginning that there is no sexual interest and there never will be, and both these inviduals are strong and independent than yes.
However if one of them is weak and very emotional, then no.
I mean yes men are dogs, but too many women let then be. What are people going to do when they're married? Live in a cave?

Its not common, its not considered to be easy, but yes, a Man and a Woman CAN BE "just friends".

Actually, I find that I can be more like myself around males than females. Most females my age are still too immature, while the men seem to have their act together.

Absolutely, I have a couple male friends and Hubby is ok with that and would never feel threatened. As long as both parties are clear about their intentions from the beginning, there should be no problems.

I thought so for a long time... until my best friend of 10 years decided that she needed to leave her husband and 2 kids because she was in love with me... So now I'm not so sure. It's not always the guys that want more... that's too stereotypical.
