All files in computer r stored as 1s and 0s...
if mspaint or any other software which can understand "jpeg"HEADDER will show the picture....
msword consider 0 and 1 as some text so try to dispaly char...

That is because each stuff in computer stored as 1 and 0.even the pixels of JPG. so when u view it inMS word it gives you the corresponding ASCII character and not the pixel. Hope u understand. However u can insert picture in a MSWORD file by selecting insert----pictures--------select from file and brose to the picture u wish to see

lol ms word is only for documents. JPEG is for pictures. In otherwords MSword dosen't know how to read JPEG format.

Its simply because MS Word cannot interpret the JPEG images.. But if u force the word to do that it tries to interpret it in its own way and will end up in some junk values..

Its not supposed to open that file hence the problem, just as our language has alphabet which means many thing, same way comp has it slang in 0s and 1s, so called binary numeral, hence the problem

Because Word is not a photo viewer. However, you can copy and paste a .jpg into Word. I prefer to put it in a text box so its easier to move around.
