I just started a new job and the department secretary keeps coming into my office just to chat. She is very friendly and seems very comfortable with me. She has not make any moves like asking me out for drinks. She is a knock out too. So for me it is hard to tell.

c'mon flirting is not a sin. she might be trying to be nice;you know make you feel comforable after all you're new. don't ever think that a woman who flirts is a slut.she might even be slightly attracted to you but won't know it.(hey it happens). just be friends with her. appreciate her company, sort out your feelings for her(its no use making moves if you feel nothing).if you realize you like her make a move. if you do'nt and she makes a move you can tactfully back out.good luck

I suggest you remain friendly but professional at the same time. It might be a test from your boss or a trick from your fellow colleagues who were eyeing on your position previously. I have got that before so I know this is not entirely impossible.
Then again, you could also take this opportunity to show that you are a gentleman and not just like any other horny bastards, if you get what I mean.

Office romance big mistake, so don't even entertain the thought. The next thing is, men read signals very different than women. She might just be friendly. Don't read too much into it. Every smile is not a invitation to romance.

its hard to tell, since she is a knock out....are you a bomb?
otherwise, she seems friendly yet mightlike your company, other wise why would she come to your office , unless she has nothing to do? i feel that maybe if you do happen to like this knock out then just waite a bit and see what she is on about, other wise, office romance can be a pain in the long term......

She's just friendly and if by chance she is flirting with you, ignoring her and playing the friend will only make her want you more and try harder. You will know if she's interested if this happens. Just be nice but don't ask her out...yet.
