why wasnt gambit in the x-men movies?

i think u mean Gambit. well from some movie sources and sites they said that Keanu Reeves was supposed to play him but he was doin the Matrix movies so they threw it out the window cuz they said only he can be a great Gambit. but they shouldve had him in them. hopefully he'll be in the Wolverine and Magneto spinoffs.

Gambit is going to be introduced into the future X-Men movies, but they have to find the perfect actor and they have to have a good story line for him they were going to add him as a small part in X-Men 3, but decided not to cause they couldn't go to far into his storyline with everything else in the movie. But I am sure they will make more X-Men movies most of the actors have signed on for a 4th and 5th if they make more of them, and Gambit will be introduced in one of them.

Well I don't know who the hell bambit is but gambit is getting worked into the story lines. There is going to be more x-men movies. they said they have them scheduled for like 5 movies in the series.

Because he got killed by his mother. Of course if by "Bambit" you mean Gambit and not "Bambi" it is because Gambit was more of a popular character because of the old animated series. He's a cool guy but not nearly a big X-Men character as one would have thought.

Cause "Bambit" is not his name, Many rumours though over Gambit: Might be in spin off movies, would've been Keannu Reeves but wil most probably be worked in in the next movies or so, possibly 5 movies inthe series, not counting spin offs planned (Wolverine and Magneto)

he is mentioned in x-men 2 they couldn't work the character into the story line they were going for
