Is there a special name for when you dream something happens and then it actually happens in real life.
This happened to me yesterday and people were attempting to convince me it was Deja Vu when I know that it wasn't. Unfortunately this only happens concerning little unimportant things not lottery numbers etc
PS Wasn't Sure where to ask this so don't chuck a fit at me if I asked in the wrong section

Statistically speaking, its called coincidence. If it were a premonition, what proof is there that it was a statistically significance cause and effect relationships. To see the future defies rationality and science. Of course, a repeated pattern that can be observed, recorded, replicated, etc. would force a new paradigm for the scientists to think about and model.
Objective reality means that dreams do not come true and that premonition does not exist. I would venture to say your dreams are in the realm of wishful thinking, post ad hoc fallacy, and demonstrates the finer aspects of Occams Razor.

Deja-vu or psychic ability.
Have you seen Final Destination? If you dream of something bad & then you start to see it happening, get out!!! Trust your instincts.

yes! premonition, or coincidence or inevitability if you dream something then you'll behave a certain way which produces positive or negative results or influences other people to behave or invest a certain way...
