now it is not raining in chennai rain starts only by the last week of october.you can be to kodaikanal during this time as chennai is hot during day time

Rain or no rain why do you want to go to hell. There are so many placed in India. You can go anywhere. Madras is horrible. Worst people, worst mentality, no respect, all illiterates, all cheats, Bad politicians all (-) (-)
Only few temples are good. rain should not really bother. I leave it to you to decide.
