Some people dislikes\hates RAP,Hip-Hop?

Who are those?who dislikes rap must be an idiot,it's better than Rock n' Roll,Jazz,Classic etc. IT'S THE BEST!
Am I right?

Ok people,calm down,it's my opinion,that hiphop is the best,You know...it's kinda "AFRICAN MUSIC"

I found that most of ppl who agreed wit' me are blacks!So that means whites hates Hiphop?THAT"S RACISM

In order for it to be the best, where do you think in the beginning of rap where the music came from? Jazz & Rock & Roll. You really can't put rap above any other form simply because rap is for the most part collage music. I'm a rap fan also, but facts are facts & until rap desides that some musicianship is needed instead of this one note crap that's out now, it can never be the best.
Note to rswdew: There are groups that have live bands & has used live bands in rap. The Roots of course, but also Kanye West, Guru from Gangstarr are just a few that come to mind. But of course, not a lot people would know this because for the most part, that's not getting played on the radio. Garbage is.

Everyone has different taste in music...some like rock, some prefer jazz or classical, and some love rap and hip-hop. It's not right to say that those who dislike your taste in music is an idiot. That would be like saying if you don't like Beethoven you're an idiot. Variety is the spice of life. If we all liked the same thing, the world would be a very boring place to live.

No. There is no one form of music that is "the best". Music and music taste is highly subjective. I for one, do not limit myself to one form of music or sound, because you do exactly that - you limit yourself.

Most music around today would not exist without the music which preceded it. Rock and Roll built on the template of gospel and the rhythm and blues of the late 40's and 50's, jazz also built on a previous music template. Hip Hop also built on the template of funk, soul, rock, gospel, r'n b, electro via Kraftwerk and other disparate genres.

The music rap is supposed to be better than is the foundation that it was built on. You need only consult with the founders of the hip hop movement like Afrika Bambaata, DJ Kool Herc and Grandmaster Flash to confirm this.

First off rap artists don't do anything original they "sample" from other artists. They do not play instruments, everything is done on a computer. They are poets I will give them that much, but so are all songwriters in all genres who actually SING and play instruments. Rockers, especially, use real drums!! not a beat box or a synthesized beat. Until a rap artist comes out with a REAL band and not just some guy spinning disks and says more than just "blabba f'in blab blab beotch yeah yeah yeah" I will not consider them real artists! Not to mention, rappers are in it strictly for the Benjamins, they don't give 2 sh!ts about music or the love there of!!

Wrong first I don't like Rap because it is hard to understand. I'm white. Most of my musical heroes are black.

I do think that most rap and Hip-Hop is junk. My heroes are the jazz musicians. I think that the black jazz guys have tons of dignity, whereas the rap and Hip Hop guys are busy grabbin' there own crotches.

Especially if you're black, you should get to know the historic jazz men. It's part of black culture. They are part of American culture, a great part.

rap is simple B.S music that is for bass junkies and people who have no sense of music, classical music requires alot and alot of talent and rock and jazz also need practice and sense of music to play. Rap can be made by almost anyone really... it is all about selling products and making you envious of the crap they have. Also the singers who seem to be models with tone-deaf singing voices are not that good at singing. Learn what music is before you start critizing good and REAL music first.

You can't expect everyone to have your tastes.
I detest rap, and I don't listen to "rock and roll", I'm not really into jazz, and I'm not much of a classical listener.
I listen to mostly ambient and electronica.

I don't blame many people for hating rap. Say what you say, it is a music for low-lives (and I am NOT being racist, because I like African music).
Maybe rap would be more likeable if your favorite musicians quit bragging about how much "bling-bling" they have, or how they treat their "b!tches" and "hoes"

Rap is okay, but R&B sucks. The other forms you mentioned are actual music, as instruments are involved, and not just some IT whizz sticking some sampled pieces together
