There are two common types of Trojan horses. One, is otherwise useful software that has been corrupted by a cracker inserting malicious code that executes while the program is used. Examples include various implementations of weather alerting programs, computer clock setting software, and peer to peer file sharing utilities. The other type is a standalone program that masquerades as something else, like a game or image file, in order to trick the user into some misdirected complicity that is needed to carry out the program's objectives

Trojan as the name implies is from the trojan horse from Homers play on the city of troy. The trojan horse is brought into the city unsuspectingly by the people of Troy. Same with the virus, its brought in by Email or downloading a file with the virus hiding inside the file, once inside it starts causing havoc with your PC.

Prevention is better than cure so always have firewall and an up to date virus checker on your PC to reduce the chances of infection!

If your unlucky enough ro get it,i suggest run a virus checker and usually they will isolate the virus and give you the option of deleting it or quarantine it.

Hope this hepls!

A trojan is a program, written to track, copy, and transfer your action on your computer. Your keyboard strokes, your file movements, your internet browsing are all can be tracked by certain types of trojan. The best way to get rid of a trojan is to run a antispyware program. You can start with windows malicious software removal, than try a third party antispyware and antivirus software. And good luck...

A trojan is a type of spyware that tries to take over the operation of your computer by sometimes taking control of your executable files(.exe files). It may hide itself or be seen, however they are not easily deletable. You have to get an anti virus like mcafee, kaspersky or norton to scan and delete them or u can do a system restore to a date before the trojan appeared fpr the first time!
