Barcelona striker Ronaldinho has replaced England captain David Beckham as the world's highest-paid player.
France Football magazine claims the Brazilian's total annual income from salaries and other deals is £15.9m.

Real Madrid's Beckham has topped the list for the last three years but his income is believed to have dropped to £12.5m from £17.3m.

Manchester United's Wayne Rooney is fourth, with an annual income of £11.2m - behind Real's Ronaldo.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho tops France Football's list of top coaching earners.

Mourinho is calculated to earn £7.56m a year, with England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson following behind with an annual income of £4.78m

150 million euros is one astronomical sum of money thats probably enough to fund the needs of all victims of natural disasters everywhere in the world for a year personally i dont support Milan, Spurs, ManUtd or whichever clubs whose players are being chased today (Kaka, Berbatov, Ronaldo respectively) but as a football fan Im really concerned on this commercialisation of the game now building a strong squad at club level does no longer need youth academies just look at Chelsea Terry is their only club-trained players combined together the worth of the other 20 over players may be enough to re-build all tsunami-stricken cities from December 2004 sure most football clubs have done something to give back to the society but looking at the state of the world today, spending millions and millions of dollars just to 'buy' one man may not be so ethical perhaps im being too extreme but thats the truth the grim truth
