Tropical fish are meant to be admired and observed in their tank, not eaten.
If you want to eat fish, buy some nice fresh fillets from the fishmonger or supermarket.
Fish is low in fat and high in protein and is very good for you.
Don't go gobbling down shoals of neon tetras though !!!!. Most tropical fish aren't big enough to eat anyway, even if someone was sick enough to want to eat them.

Most tropical fish are edible and in Africa Nile Perch have been introduce into some of the Rift Valley lakes for the locals to catch and eat. The down side is that they have just about wiped out the native fish.
