I saw 1 alone in a field then in another field I saw a large family of them. Probably more than 12. Anyone know wat it means?

The one on its own was probably an irritating little sod who had been cast out by the others.

It means that there are a lot of magpies in some fields and not so many in others!

it means you should run away.
or maybe there's a truckload of silver buried somewhere in the field as magpies are attracted to shiny objects.
