I hate to say it but this summer is gonna be a scorcher as well as a really bad fire season the last 2 days yesterday & today a total of 70 fires have been started deliberately, accidental and by smouldering burnoffs

Buckle down all South Australians as we might be in for Ash Wednesday 3 this fire season

Not necessarily. Going off the last few years, winter and spring have been really warm than towards the end of november start of december, it's actually gotten cooler. I think that there will only be a handful of really scortching days this summer, I think aside from those days, most of the temperatures will stay around the high 20's low 30's. Just going off what the last few years have been like. The winds that we were meant to get in August didn't actually get here until September. So the weather's all over the place lately.

That's awful! I hope it's just an anomaly.

We're getting ready for winter, up here (Georgia, U.S.A.), which is a place known for its mild (read, non-existant) winters. Yesterday was 30 degrees, here, and I fully expect that this winter (ha!) will again be a no-show.

I can't stand summer, and around here it lasts all damn year.

I wish you good Aussies a mild summer.

You must be an Aussie.

In Calgary, it almost never gets to 35 even in summer.
