Hi , I'am planning to buy a bike in 125 cc segment. Narrowed down to Bajaj Discover Dtsi 125 cc and Honda Shine. Want to go for Discover but heard that after few months, it has problems with gear shift and mileage. suggest me which one to opt for..

I would suggest buying Honda shine. Discover gives pretty bad average after an year, something like 50kmpl. Honda has more service centers as compared to Bajaj plus spares parts for Honda are relatively cheap. If you are going to ride bike for atleast couple more years, Honda is your best bet.
Rest everything depends upon how you drive your bike, e.g. speed.

Well Discover is a recent vehicle... so shouldnt take opinion about it that way straight... there could have been teething problems which the manufacturers do keep watch on...
In any case I feel that you will upgrade to a new vehicle in the next 4 years going by the trend in the market....
So either vehicle will be as good... Honda sure is a tested vehicle... but if you have found the Discover good too... take to that.... I will vote for Discover....

Honda's service sucks man. My brother and my friend both had bought unicorn and facing lots of problems with service. After seeing them I went for pulsar and done 17000 kms on it. Till now its not having a single problem. My neighbour has discover which has done 20000 kms, no problem till now.

HERO HONDA SPLENDER. THAT'S DA BEST BT U TAKE THE OLD SPLENDER NOT MEANS 2HAND MEANS THAT PURPLE & PINK COLOUR LINE DID U GET THAT BUT U HAV TO WAIT FOR THAT .
