I think we have to blame prejudice and religion...if a couple love each other neither should be important.

Marriage is a full time job, having something in common with the person your going to be marrying.
Such as, religion, hobbies, and so on.

getting married is one of the biggest decision ur goin to make because u are going to live with ur other half for the rest of ur life, so its best to select a partner whom u will understands( in case of religion) and whom you will share ur life, (relations knows a bit bout u already).
