I've had enough. I'm starting my own political party. It will be called the common sense party. All are welcome to join, it matters not of your colour or race as long as you want to live and work in our wonderful country.
People will practice their religion at home. All churches, mosques, synagogues etc... will no longer be places of worship but turned into hospitals and shelters for the homeless.
There will be no religious dress of any kind.
Prisons will be turned into hard labour camps and there will be more of them.
There will be longer custodial sentences for people who break the law. Community service, open prisons and ASBOS will be abolished, and instead the offenders will do hard labour.
Schools and hospitals would be greater funded. I'm sure nobody would object to a little more tax to cover this.
There will be no political correctness or more to the point there will be no idiotic, middle class, white cretins shouting racist at every given moment.
Who's with me?

Afraid not mate.
You see the problem is this is your ideal not everyone elses. As soon as you start impsoing your view on other people then you become a dictator. Our current system may not be perfect but it's about as good as it gets.

I think your concept is good, but you need to smooth out the edges with less dramatic borderlines, a splash more liberalism in the right places and you can't tell people what to/and not what to wear.
I like the churches being put to good use, Ive always felt that they did nothing for people as a whole, they only catered for the select few who think they are elitist.
You know there is no such thing as middleclass, hasnt been for a very longtime. There is only the majority of people who fight everyday to keep a roof over their families heads, and the wealthy.
In support of religion, I know of one group of christians who don't have a church, they hire a hall once a week and after their service they take home and feed whoever wanders into that hall on that day. They help the homeless too. By contrast, the head churches with all their properties and buildings are closing down old people's homes. The local councils then have to try to find nursing homes for the people they have made homeless, many between 70 and 100 years old. So, you can't judge the whole of religion by the actions of some religions. But in a just world religion would'nt be necessary.
So, I'm halfway with you, let the revolution begin once you have finetuned your policies and have a frontman to market it. Happy Politics!

wow thats well strange i just posted about starting a political party too. maybe thats fate at work?
however i think that you would have too rethink some of your manifesto and if colour and race dont matter then why should it stop at our country? worldwide peace is what we should be aiming for, common sense from here to america and beyond, people need places to worship, i myself can't stand religion as it has caused very nearly every war ever known to man but you cannot take away peoples faith and freedom to believe what they want.
longer sentances in an already overflowing judicial system? doesn't really make much sense,
asbos are one thing that i think new labour got right, punishment for kids should not be back breaking labour, how would you have felt if when you was a kid you got caught throwing stones and got sent to a granite quarry?
more funding for schools and hospitals.....hmm. ive thought long and hard about how too accomplish this and in my opinion politcians are on way to much money for the jobs they do, it's a service to the country not a way of greatly increasing your own bank balance, there must be at least what 250 politictians who can afford to lose like £1000 each a year that would be £250.000 a year more to go towards healthcare and education. and as for political correctness. i think the ethics involved are good the problem is that they have become so distorted that now they actually cause more problems than they are worth, and as a result we seem to have got to that great orwellian point where everybody is equal but some are more equal than others. however in a political environment where somebody's personal beliefes are irrelevant only hard facts would matter when it comes to political correctness.
so i put it to you that i'm not with you, i will however need people of near if not full like mindedness to join the party of world peace (i've not really thought of a name for it yet)
are you with me?

I would join, but that church thing, i strongly disagree with. Even if you don't believe, Churches greatly help the community. And getting rid of a person's religous dress, some people have their religion as such, and doing so, you would be breaking the religion of choice thing. Other than that, sounds good to me

Can we still have death sentences, and castration for pediophiles?.....
Additional note: I might join, but need further clarification.. so we're eliminating the middle class,, does this leave the poor and the rich,, hmmm did you recently read the Donald Trump book, lol.. (refers to no middle class).. too funny either way..
thumbs up for castration, no rehabilitation, and death sentences.
