Coming out is clearly and proudly telling those who matter to you that you have a sexual preference that they may not know about or approve of.

BDSM is a sexual practice that can be(and is) a part of both heterosexual and GLBT relationships. About half the heterosexual couples who life a D/s or M/s lifestyle and who practice BDSM and express their sexuality with BDSM are not out because they fear losing their homes, position in their church's, jobs and children. Same things that keep many GLBT in the closet.

ROFLMAO!
Both Gay and straight people are "into" S&M...
The difference? How many straight S&M bars/clubs have been harassed, patrons arrested, etcetera by the police? How many Polititians are keeping heterosexual marriages of S&M practitioners unrecognised legally?

Learn what you are talking about first. You won't get laughed at as often.
